Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has received a spate of disgraceful comments after she took to social media to celebrate a huge milestone in Australian sporting history. This year's Boxing Day Test broke a record that has stood for 87 years, with 350,700 people flocking to the MCG to watch Australia clinch an enthralling victory against India and go 2-1 up in the Border-Gavaskar series.
It surpassed the total attendance of 350,534 who flocked to the iconic stadium to watch Don Bradman smash 270 runs against England in the 1937 Ashes Series. Many have taken to social media to celebrate the huge milestone, with Victorian Premier Allen writing on X: 'We've just broken the record for biggest Test cricket crowd in Australian sporting history.'.
Unfortunately, the comments under her celebratory message were filled with many disgraceful messages. One X user wrote: 'Send back all the immigrants.'. 'Congrats on mass immigration that nobody asked for,' another said. Victoria premier Jacinta Allan took to social media to celebrate the record breaking crowd at the MCG this week for the Boxing Day Test.
