Walk It Out rapper DJ Unk has died aged 43. The Atlanta-based musician, whose full name is Anthony Leonard Platt, is best known for his 2006 hits Walk It Out and 2 Step. His wife Sherkita Long-Platt announced the news of his death on Friday, writing on Facebook: ‘Please respect me and my family. I just lost my husband and my kids just lost their father.

After his health scare, he told XXL: ‘It comes from not exercising, from not eating right. Basically man, I work hard everyday. Everything I do every day I try to make something happen in my household.
