Arne Slot was given a red card by referee Michael Oliver in the immediate aftermath of Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Everton on Wednesday night.
Liverpool appeared to be on course to go nine points clear at the top of the Premier League as Mohamed Salah put Slot’s side 2-1 ahead with 17 minutes remaining at Goodison Park.

Slot, who will now be absent on the touchline for Liverpool’s Premier League match against Wolves this Sunday, was prevented from speaking to the media after the game because of the rules of his red card.
The draw at Goodison Park leaves Liverpool seven points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier league.
