Iconic boyband Boyzone enjoyed huge success in the 1990s and 2000s thanks to a string of hit singles and albums - but where are the stars now?. Boyzone's career and fame is covered in a new Sky documentary series entitled Boyzone: No Matter What and features archive and new interviews with Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch as well as their distant former manager Louis Walsh.

Boyzone enjoyed massive success in the UK, with 21 singles in the top 40 and 22 in the Irish charts. They had six UK No.1 singles and nine in Ireland and remain the second most successful boyband in the UK. The three-part series, which will be available on Sky Documentaries and NOW from Sunday (February 2), will cover the huge moments of their band, including their 1990s success, their splits, struggles with Louis Walsh and the sudden death of bandmate Stephen Gately.

Despite a mini-reunion in the documentary and at a red carpet event, the boyband has ruled out any reunion. Shane Lynch talked down a reunion on Lorraine while Mikey Graham does not want a reminder ofthe "dark times" he experienced. Each member of Boyzone has had a colourful life and enjoyed success with their solo careers or tried their hand at acting. In the case of one star, he struggled with the limelight and now leads a quiet but peaceful life in Ireland.

Arguably the most successful musician in Boyzone, Ronan Keating's popularity and solo career ambitions partially contributed to the boyband splitting up. Ronan Keating enjoyed multiple Number 1 singles and albums, including his famous cover of When You Say Nothing at All. The single was a huge hit thanks to its inclusion on the Notting Hill soundtrack and later on his debut album Ronan. Louis Walsh became Keating's manager in the 2000s, but ended up feeling frustrated with the Irish manager. The pair have had an on-and-off feud since, with parting shots shared in interviews and on the new Sky documentary.

Keating has also appeared as a judge on the Australian version of The X Factor, The Voice Kids UK and his own breakfast show on Magic Radio. Keating is active in charity work and has been a charity campaigner for the Marie Keating Foundation, which raises awareness for breast cancer and is named after his mother, who died from the disease in 1998. Keating was previously married to Yvonne Connolly and they have three children together, namely 25-year-old Jack, Marie, aged 23, and 19-year-old Ali. The pair were divorced in 2015 after it was revealed Keating had a seven-month affair with Boyzone back-up dancer Francine Cornell.

Ronan Keating is currently married to his second wife, namely Storm Uechtritz. They have two children together, namely eight-year-old Cooper Archer Keating and four-year-old Coco Knox Keating. Stephen Gately was a popular and beloved member of the boyband and was subject to high attention from fans and later tabloids. The Sky documentary series revealed he was cruelly outed as a former crew member had threatened to sell details of his sexuality to the media.

Gately was in a civil partnership with internet businessman Andrew Cowles. After Boyzone's split, he performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, pantos, Absolutely Fabulous and Dancing on Ice. On October 9, 2009, Stephen was out with his partner of six years, Andrew, at the Black Cat Club in Palma. They returned in the early hours of October 10 to their apartment in Port d'Andratx, Majorca with a man they met that night, Georgi Dochev.

Georgi left the apartment the following morning and found Gately's unresponsive body on the sofa. Cowles tried to revive his partner and called the emergency services. Unfortunately, the 33-year-old Gately could not be revived. A post-mortem and toxicology tests showed Gately died due to a pulmonary oedema caused by an undiagnosed heart condition. Stephen Gately was just 33 years old when he passed away in 2009, with countless tributes from fans, musicians, and celebrities shared. Known for his charity work and kindness, Gately was also praised as a "gay rights hero".

Gately's vocals featured in a song called "I Can Dream" on Boyzone's final album in 2018. He wrote a children's fantasy novel called The Tree of Seasons, which was posthumously released in May 2010. After Boyzone split, Duffy teamed up with Shane Lynch and released their pop-rap version of "Girl You Know It's True" under the name Keith 'N' Shane which reached the UK Top 40. Duffy appeared on a number of reality shows including Celebrity Big Brother, Lily Savage's Blankety Blank and The Door.

Keith Duffy enjoyed success in soap operas, with a notable role as Ciaran McCarthy. Duffy received nominations at various soap award ceremonies for his portrayal of Ciaran over two stints on the ITV soap. The Irish singer later formed Boyzlife with Westlife’s Brian McFadden, and they have received two albums together so far. Keith Duffy is currently married to Lisa Smith after their Las Vegas wedding saw Ronan Keating act as his best man. Keith and Lisa have two children together namely, 28-year-old Jordan Stephen Scott Duffy and 24-year-old Mia Duffy.
