KYLE Walker’s wife Annie Kilner is set to follow in the footsteps of her fellow WAGs by venturing into the world of reality TV - in her latest move to create her own brand. This week, The Sun exclusively revealed that Annie is reportedly in talks for a £750,000 deal to appear on Celebrity Big Brother. However, the 32-year-old is said to have one key condition: ITV bosses must ensure that her rival, Lauryn Goodman, 34, isn’t part of the line-up.
If she agrees to join, the mother of four could use the opportunity to address her marriage troubles with Kyle, who has been embroiled in multiple cheating scandals. A telly insider said: "Annie wants the opportunity to make her own money and wants the public to see her as a woman in her own right, not Kyle’s downtrodden wife. “It could be the start of a new career for Annie and an exciting move. Producers dropped Lauryn for Annie, as they knew landing Annie would be a massive boost, as she has never publicly spoken about the dramas of her marriage to Kyle.".
Producers are said to be keen to feature a high-profile WAG on the show, inspired by the success of Coleen Rooney in the latest series of I'm A Celebrity. But Annie isn’t the only WAG stepping into the spotlight to share her side of the story. Here, we take a look at some of the biggest reality TV paydays in the world of WAGs. Victoria certainly knows how to spice up her earnings. After rising to fame as part of one of the biggest girl groups in the world, she’s since built a career as a fashion designer and makeup brand owner.
On top of that, she’s one of the most famous WAGs globally, sharing four children - Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13 - with her legendary footballer husband, David, 49. It’s no surprise, then, that Victoria, now 50, has appeared in several reality TV shows, offering fans a glimpse into her life. She starred in Being Victoria Beckham and other programmes such as Victoria's Secrets (2000), The Real Beckhams (2003), Victoria Beckham - A Mile in Their Shoes (2004), and Victoria Beckham: Coming to America (2007).
More recently, David’s Netflix documentary, in which Victoria featured prominently, became a massive hit, boosting their fortune by nearly £29 million. Previously, we exclusively revealed how Victoria has signed for her own Netflix deal documentary on her fashion brand. She is now one of the most talked-about WAGs, having successfully monetised her fame through lucrative TV deals. Being married to Manchester United legend Wayne, 39 - one of the UK’s most successful footballers - has meant that every aspect of her life, as well as that of their children, Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, nine, and Cass, six, has been scrutinised by fans.
Coleen found herself in the spotlight in 2019 after accusing fellow WAG and former friend Rebekah Vardy of leaking stories to the media. Rebekah, a mother of five, sued for defamation but lost. Coleen turned the drama into a hit documentary, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, which aired on Disney+ in 2023 and is now available on ITVX. The 38-year-old reportedly earned over £1 million for the four-part series following a fierce bidding war.
A year later, she appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and became the show’s highest-paid contestant ever, securing a deal worth around £1.5 million. Olivia Attwood has firmly established herself as a reality TV queen, with her earnings continuing to soar. The 33-year-old first shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, where contestants are paid £375 a week to cover rent and bills back home.
As one of the show’s most popular stars - thanks in part to her romance with Chris Hughes, which saw them finish third - ITV was keen to keep her on our screens. She soon landed her own reality show, Chris & Olivia: Crackin' On, but after splitting with Chris, she appeared on Celebs Go Datingin 2018, reportedly earning a £200,000 fee. In 2019, Olivia joined TOWIE, where cast members are paid around £250 per episode.
By 2020, she was back with her former footballer boyfriend, Bradley Dack - who plays for Gillingham FC and had previously cheated on her before Love Island. The couple starred in their own reality series, Olivia Meets Her Match, which earned her another £200,000. In 2022, Olivia signed up for I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Although her time in the jungle was cut short, she reportedly received her full fee - believed to be between £100,000 and £125,00 - thanks to a special clause in her contract.
Rebekah Vardy may have been at the centre of the Wagatha case, but she was securing TV contracts long before that. The 42-year-old, who shares four children with her Premier League footballer husband Jamie, 38 - Taylor, 13, Sofia, nine, Finley, six, and Olivia, three - has never been one to shy away from the spotlight. In 2017, the WAG appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! alongside stars like Made in Chelsea's Toff, YouTuber Jack Maynard, and pro boxer Amir Khan.
