The Love Island villa is rocked by another huge bombshell tonight, and he’s familiar with a few of the Islanders. But who is Omar Nyame?. 26-year-old Omar from Croydon was an Islander on Season 11 of the ITV2 dating show, and was in the villa alongside Grace Jackson, Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint. The star has ‘history’ with Grace, from his last stint, which caused an altercation between himself and Joey Essex.

Joey labelled Omar "a snake" after hearing that Omar had been 'flirty' with Grace. It was also revealed Grace would get to know Omar if the TOWIE star wasn't in the villa. Things got heated as the two squared up to each other, causing the rest of the cast to step in to pull them apart. During his time on the show, Omar was coupled up with Uma Jammeh and Jess White. He was later dumped from the villa alongside Tiffany Leighton after he and Jess were in one of the ‘least favourite’ couples.

Outside of the show, Omar was previously a PE teacher, but has now started a career in influencing, working with brands including Nova Men. The bombshell made headlines upon his arrival last year, as he’s friends with host Maya Jama’s ex Stormzy. The star also made headlines after his exit from the show, as it was reported he and Grace had formed a connection in the outside world. Commenting on one of her pictures, he penned: "The type of woman empires used to go to war for,” alongside a heart eye emoji. However, Grace was dating Reuben Collins at the time, who she left the villa with. Now, it looks like he’s trying to win her back as he chooses to take her and Catherine on a date on Friday night’s episode.

Asked if there’s unfinished business with Grace, Omar said: “I’ll see how she's going and see if there's anything there. That’s all I can do, explore things and see what happens.” As well as Grace and Catherine, he also revealed he has his eyes on Elma and Tina, although he’s briefly met Elma’s partner Sammy on the outside world. As for why he’s returning to the villa as an All Star, Omar expressed how he’s looking for love and ‘wants to find a girlfriend,’ considering things didn’t go to plan last time.

“It’s round two so I’m ready to go! I’m ready to play the field as well. I want to be a bit mysterious. The other person will know how I’m feeling, I’m not going to tell them at first but they’ll definitely feel my aura and my vibe,” he said ahead of his shock entrance.
