Despite his sibling reprimanding him for the news, the man insisted that it felt 'too fast' to consult with his girlfriend about the home. Now, the man is asking people on the social media platform for advice. The post was titled: 'Am I the a**hole for buying a house without "consulting" my girlfriend of four months?'.

'My girlfriend has indicated that she wants to have kids, she has no kids currently. I am definitely open to that, but have told her only after dating at least a couple of years.'.
