"Two people, a man and a woman both aged in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death and possession of a prohibited breed of dog.
Avon and Somerset Police said: "Two people have been arrested after a woman died after she was attacked by a dog in the Hartcliffe area of Bristol yesterday (26 February).
A WOMAN was savaged by two "XL Bullies" in a viscous attack just one day after a teenager was killed by a "danger dog breed".
Cops said the hound was tranquilized and taken to a vet for examination - they fear the vicious dog is an XL Bully but this is yet to be confirmed.
