Belarusian powerhouse Aryna Sabalenka has been photographed collecting her pre-match meal before stepping out with her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis at the Australian Open. The world No.1 got her quest for a third successive Australian Open crown off to a winning start on Sunday night.
She faced American Sloane Stephens, the 2017 US Open champion, under the Rod Laver Arena roof and posted a 6-3 6-2 victory. Earlier in the day at around 3.20pm, Sabalenka gave her fans a glimpse into how she fuels up for big matches when she was pictured picking up her Uber Eats delivery.
Dressed in relaxed workout gear, the tennis star collected some tasty snacks, including beef brisket bao buns and spicy corn fritters. After her meal, the 26-year-old was spotted heading out for a stroll with her superfood entrepreneur partner, with the pair visiting the Tiffany & Co. jewellery on Melbourne's upmarket Collins Street.
Earlier in the week, Sabalenka treated her followers to a series of pictures of her and Frangulis, with one featuring a shot of her wearing a gold ring with a huge gemstone on the ring finger of her left hand. The tennis superstar needed to fuel up before her match with American Sloane Stephens. Sabalenka's meal included beef brisket bao buns and spicy corn fritters. Many of her fans jumped to the conclusion that her man had popped the question, but Sabalenka replied to one by writing: 'No guys, it's just a beautiful ring, we are not engaged.'.
