Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans was nowhere to be seen as the stars left their hotel ahead of the live show tonight. The Go Compare advert star has been hitting headlines after a video emerged of him making a vile sexual remark at his co-star while at the launch of the tour in Birmingham. Wynne was filmed making an inappropriate sexual comment to Janette Manrara, who acts as host on the tour, when she walked over to the group.
He sang out: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]." He then used the hugely demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act. Wynne later apologised for the comment, telling the Mirror : "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.".
It has since been reported that he was axed from the remainder of the live tour, with the star nowhere to be seen when the cast left the hotel this evening. Some left the building in pairs and some left alone, but Wynne wasn't among the group. His dance partner, Katya Jones, was seen walking alone.
She wrapped up warm in a long puffer jacket and a cap as she put on a smile for the cameras. Shayne Ward gave the cameras a thumbs up as he made his way to tonight's show. Tasha Ghouri was seen in sweatpants on the phone to someone while Neil Jones smiled for the cameras as he walked by.
