Zara and Mike Tindall are pivotal and adored members of the Royal Family, with their contemporary and relatable approach. Whether that’s during an official royal engagement or a family day out at the races, the couple makes no exception in hiding their down-to-earth nature and undeniable affection for each other. This month, Zara and Mike looked as happy as ever to be in each other's company as they beamed and sweetly wrapped their arms around each other during their annual trip to Australia - the place where their love story first began.
The Olympic equestrian, 43, and England former rugby star, 46, have been together for over two decades, having met in Australia in 2003 during Zara’s gap year and while Mike was playing in the Rugby World Cup. Their relationship blossomed, and three months after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s high-profile wedding in 2011, they tied the knot during a more intimate ceremony at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland, on June 30. They went on to welcome three children, Mia, 10, Lena, six, and Lucas, three, and the family of five resides in Gloucestershire on the sprawling grounds of Gatcombe Park estate.
Spending some time away from their adorable brood, Zara and Mike attended key 2025 Magic Millions events on Australia’s Gold Coast this month, where they put on a loved-up display of affection. The royal couple have often spoken about their fondness for the country and have even joked about making a big move Down Under one day.
Zara, an ambassador for the event, donned white polo trousers, a red Magic Millions top, and a white baseball cap as she took part in the Barrier Draw for one of the events. Showing his support, Zara was interviewed by her husband, who boasted a floral blue shirt and beige shorts. He expressed that in his eyes, there was “only one winner” - thought to be a sweet nod to his wife of 13 years.
