BENJAMIN MENDY has joined FC Zurich in a shock free transfer. The defender has not featured all season having been exiled by Lorient manager Olivier Pantaloni. Mendy, 30, has now completed his much expected exit of the Ligue 2 club. The full-back has signed a deal that will run until the summer of 2026. Zurich president Ancillo Canepa has insisted Mendy will provide support to the young players. "He will be above all an important support for our young players.".
