Viewers of The Traitors got another instalment of shocking telly tonight - and they are demanding to see an 'uncloaked reaction' after another brutal dumping. Wednesday night's episode of the hit BBC show, saw Maia murdered, just days after she turned on her Traitor sister Armani, saying she was "60 per cent" she wasn't a Faithful.
The roundtable - including Maia - voted for Armani to be banished on Friday's episode (January 3), and despite the show being known for its brutality, fans were stunned by the latest dumping. Taking to X, one viewer wrote: "I just immediately need Maia’s uncloaked reaction to who the traitors really are #TheTraitors", while another added: "Oh that is mean. Poor Maia".
A third felt the betrayal was step too far, even for the Traitors, with one person commenting: "watching #TheTraitors a little behind but they did my girl sooooo dirty like had maia not been through enough???". There are now only two Traitors left in the castle - retired opera singer Linda and call centre manager Minah - but the pressure is on to root them out. Prior to Armani's banishing, four Faithfuls had already left, with Yin going in the first episode, and Nathan, Elen and Keith departing the show in the second instalment.
Before she went into the castle, full-time mum Maia said her game plan was "to act dumb, but not too dumb", but correctly banishing her sister at last week's roundtable proved she could've been a real asset to the group. "I can't just sit on that Round Table and not have an opinion," she said before the show aired. "I have to twist everything to make it seem like I'm really, really upset. And I've done that a lot in my life. So, acting dumb, but also, I think being good at the Missions.".
