One Below Deck Down Under star had a near miss accident in the latest episode of the Bravo reality show. Deckhand Harry Van Vliet was seen 'screaming' for a medic after a nasty accident involving a jet ski had him almost losing a finger. The accident happened while the star was straddling a jet ski, and hooking it up to bring it back on board when the day was up. Captain Jason was then seen 'breaking the fourth wall' as he called for production.

"Production, we have an issue with Harry on the jet ski at the moment. I've got to go around and retrieve him," he said. As he began screaming in pain, shouting "hook down" Captain Jason Chambers came running to the rescue. "Where's the medic, quick?! I need a towel or something. I f*****g crushed my thumb," Harry could be heard screaming as his bloody injuries were shown - including a missing thumbnail.

Harry then explained that his finger got "crushed" while clipping the cradle on the jet ski. "A wave came up and that finger, that thumb, was in between the cradle and the jet ski. So it was just crushed," he said. The injury created worry all round, as the star was told by the medic that he could get a staff infection from the water. The pain continued to get worse, meaning Harry had to have the injury checked out in hospital the next day. Exclaiming how he'd "never felt like this in his life," Harry expressed how he was worried for his future on board as Captain Jason worried about getting a new Deckhand.

As the shocking moment played out, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their worries. "Poor Harry on Below Deck Down Under :( He's like the sweetest crew member too," penned one, while another said: "Harry, we are pulling for you, honey. We hope you are going to be OK and be able to continue the season because it’s a joy and a pleasure to have you there. You bring a great energy to the crew. I agree with the captain.".

I agree with the captain," said a third, while another confused fan questioned: "Anyone else pick up on the Captain Jason yelled for production INSTEAD of the deck crew when Harry got hurt? Peculiar. #BelowDeckDownUnder".
