Chloe Ferry has opened up about her struggles surrounding her body image. The reality star who found fame on MTV's Geordie Shore has spoken candidly about going under the knife for various cosmetic surgeries since the age of 19. Since finding fame, Chloe has been trolled on social media for her appearance and she admits to having been "naive and vulnerable.". Over the years, Chloe, now 29, has spent around £50,000 on her various enhancements. But now, she's going under the knife to reverse her looks. Initially, Chloe believed that the surgical enhancements would resolve her own problems but after several botched operations, she's made the decision to correct her look and hopes that her young followers won't fall into the same mindset that she was once in.

Although Chloe has never been diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder, she admits that her family believed she had the disorder. The condition is a mental health condition, in which the individual spends a considerable amount of time worrying about how they look. "I don't know, I was never diagnosed with it," Chloe said. She went on to add: "I would always look in the mirror and say 'I look fat, I look disgusting, I don't look pretty,' I think I've said it that many times, in my head, I've embedded it in my brain now." Speaking to Celebs Go Dating's Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast, Chloe revealed that if people attempt to compliment her, she would defer the attention.

"It makes us feel uncomfortable," she painfully revealed. In a heartbreaking admission, Chloe continued: "I don't feel I'm ever going to feel 100 percent beautiful again because I've embedded it that much in my brain. I don't think I can get 100 percent, I'm still on this little journey at the minute. "I still don't feel 100 percent about myself, no." Chloe revealed to Paul that she had her Brazilian bum lift reversed and understands that this move can be met with criticism and compliments. "I just want to feel beautiful again," Chloe said, as she admitted to being "scared" to speak out.

Speaking about her decision to reverse her procedures, Chloe said: "I'm writing this post as I'd like to share with you all something personal to me that I have never publicly addressed. Something I don't speak about as it was a sensitive topic which I found hard to openly discuss. Being put in the public eye at 19 years old was very daunting, I was naive and vulnerable. "I was ridiculed for my looks and my weight amongst other numerous insults through social media and the press. Which affected my mental health and confidence massively. The young woman I once loved being became self conscious looking for perfection." Chloe continued: "With this attention came offers of cosmetic surgery which I thought would solve all my problems, give me back my spark and self love. This wasn't the case. I suffered more depression, anxiety as well as physical discomfort. A decision made without understanding the pros and cons, a decision made on me hoping it would make me feel whole again.

"After years of working on my inner self, I feel like I've grown and entered a new stage of my life where I want to be transparent with my followers and take you along in a journey to correct my previous work and educate you all on the harsh truth of what I have endured alone for so long. I want young women and men to learn from my mistakes and have a better understanding of cosmetic surgery. I want to take this opportunity to take you all for being very supportive. It really means the world to me.".
