Not many details regarding the EA FC 25 Grassroot Greats promo have been revealed just yet, but EA did confirm that Maradona will return to Ultimate Team on Friday, February 14 – the first time the Argentine Icon has featured in the game since being removed in FIFA 22.

Leaker @FutPoliceLeaks has revealed a handful of Heroes and Icons that are set to be included in the Grassroot Greats promo. It's already been confirmed by EA that Maradona will be part of the Grassroots Great promo, but leaks show that some other big names will also be released. As with every promo in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, more players should be released as SBCs and Objectives, while EA has been very generous with its Evolutions recently, so expect an Evolution for Icons and Heroes, or even an Evolution that can give regular players stat boosts and Icon chemistry. A new Rush event and Friendlies Cup should also go live to help with Objectives, while, as always, some huge packs should be released in the Ultimate Team store for players to purchase.
