Emmerdale's Lisa Riley might have just dropped a bombshell about the limo crash twist after last week's edge-of-your-seat cliffhanger. The soap had viewers biting their nails on Friday (February 14) when 17 characters set off for a night out in two limos, only for both vehicles to crash—one ending up precariously on an icy lake. Caleb Miligan was behind the wheel of one limo, ferrying Mackenzie Boyd, Sam Dingle, Bear Wolf, Matty Barton, Cain Dingle, Paddy Dingle, and Mandy Dingle. Meanwhile, Charity Dingle drove the second limo with Kerry Wyatt, Amy Wyatt, Tracy Metcalfe, Vanessa Woodfield, Suzy Merton, Chas Dingle, Leyla Harding, and Liam Cavanagh.
Lisa, who portrays Mandy, chatted on Good Morning Britain on Monday (February 17), teasing the upcoming episode. "We are on tenterhooks. So, we know that someone will lose their life, we don't know who. Could it be Mandy? " probed presenter Charlotte Hawkins. "I can't tell you it's not Mandy, but what's been so interesting this weekend, Charlotte, is that everywhere I go, people are saying, 'Can I see your hand? ' because they've seen the ice, the knocking, and obviously Mandy's got a wedding ring on. Am I under the ice? Have I survived the actual impact of the crash? " Lisa mused. "I just love the way everyone's so invested in who might be dead, and is Paddy and Mandy one of the people that are gonna lose their life?".
The actor cheekily hinted: "You said one person, there might be more," leaving Charlotte utterly gobsmacked as she exclaimed: "Oh, it could be more than one? We'll have to wait.", reports Leeds Live. Richard Madeley couldn't resist a quip, saying: "I would be very surprised if it was you, because if it was you, I doubt that you'd be sitting here this morning. You'd probably be sitting with your lawyer, negotiating contracts.".
Lisa was quick to set the record straight: "I still have my set," prompting Richard to speculate: "I'm going to assume that you've floated to the surface alive.". Despite her near three-decade tenure on the soap, Lisa admitted that nothing is certain when it comes to her character's fate, explaining that "you're in the hands of the executive producers". "With the current climate, you've got to keep up with the brilliant storylines. That's why you have something so impactful, like the two limousine tonight, where all weekend on social media, everyone's talking about it," she wrapped up.
Tonight's Emmerdale will peel back the layers on both crashes. A source from the show hinted: "As some of the passengers start to come around, they take in their situation. Panic becomes horror as they witness their heavy vehicle is stranded on a creaking frozen lake. But which limo is in danger? ". Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX. Don't miss out on the biggest soaps gossip! Get a daily email direct to your inbox with our newsletter.
