It’s not exactly the update that players have been waiting for, and even though the blog post reveals that Xbox Game Pass members have special access to the Ark Survival Ascended Astraeos DLC and a one-month Marketplace Pass in Minecraft, it’s still a remarkably meagre update for the service, and one that doesn’t do anything for players who have been working through the Like a Dragon series to find that Yakuza 3 and 4 remastered simply aren’t on the service anymore.
It’s not all rosy, though, as two major bouts of game losses have made the service feel emptier than usual, with Tales of Arise leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of last month, and now, a big change to the lineage of the Like a Dragon series on the service, with Xbox Game Pass losing Yakuza games.
The game came with a collection of titles in the first Xbox Game Pass February drop, too, giving players on a Standard subscription access to Starfield and Another Crab’s Treasure, with players on Ultimate getting Madden NFL 25 and Ninja Gaiden 2 Black too.
It has left a hole in the service that can’t be filled for many by just one AAA title, and some could do with an incoming wall of games – but sadly, that’s not what players will be getting in the new Xbox Game Pass February 2025 update.
As part of the second update of the month, and as revealed in a new blog post, here’s everything coming in the second Xbox Game Pass February 2025 update:.
