This Morning faced viewer backlash during Wednesday's show with fans claiming they had to turn over after the presenters and guests spent the show talking over one another. Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary joined forces with Camilla Tominey and Tim Campbell to discuss the day's news, but things got lively during one light-hearted discussion about if people change into pyjamas immediately after returning home.
The ITV stars became enthused, sharing their habits, which resulted in all of them speaking simultaneously, which left viewers struggling to understand the conversation, reports Wales Online. Audiences did not hold back their complaints on social media, with one annoyed viewer commenting: "Stop talking over each other.".
Another reeled: "I'm watching #thismorning and four adults are talking over each other. I hope no one is allowing this behaviour to be modelled for their half-term children.". Someone else wrote: "The subtitles have just given up and said *Everyone talks over each other*". Disgruntlement continued with another viewer adding: "What a complete mess #thismorning is! All talking over each other and discussing boring subjects. It's embarrassing! Yes, I've switched over!".
While one person commented: "Are they just going to talk about themselves..." A fourth tweet read:: "Four shouting at the same time. Is this program still for adults???". Nonetheless, amid the criticism, some viewers found joy in the chaos, with one fan praising: "I do love Alison and Dermot on This Morning." Another wrote: "More Alison and Dermot!".
Alison Hammond candidly shared her love for comfort, revealing: "I like my bra off. That bra is coming off!. "These babies are being released! I'm releasing the twins because they're in line. I am straight in my pyjamas. I'll be honest with you; I'm not a pyjama person, I like a nightie. I like to be free.".
Pressed whether she strolls about the house only in her nightie, Alison confirmed with a chuckle, leaving nothing to the imagination: "Oh yeah, I just wanna be free!". Tim revealed: "This has taken a very different turn for what I'd prepared for.". While Tim suggested swapping outfits post-arrival at home, Dermot O'Leary also weighed in on the topic of home comfort attire, albeit keeping his choices separate from sleepwear.
He admitted openly: "Also, you know me, I'm commando when I go to bed!" Prompting a burst of laughter from Alison, as both Camilla and Tim were rendered speechless by his admission.
