Liam Gallagher is reportedly set to splash over a million on a high-security manor house for the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour. The iconic singer, 52, who now resides in Hampstead in North London, is said to be keen to find himself a more remote rural home with CCTV in the picturesque Cotswolds. Pals close to the singer have said that Liam and fiancée Debbie Gwyther have roped in the help of estate agents in a bid to find their dream country home.
However, the couple would be wise to hold off on purchasing a luxury home until the tour kicks off, as neither Liam nor his brother Noel, 57, will see a penny until they step on stage - amid concerns they might fall out beforehand and derail the entire tour. Each brother stands to earn £3 million per show across the 33-date tour, amounting to nearly £100 million each. Liam’s fiancée and manager, Debbie, is encouraging him to invest his earnings in high-end property in the trendy Cotswolds, where values are expected to rise.
A source told The Sun: "They’re looking to buy an additional home as they love the Cotswolds area so much. Security is a priority for Liam so that will be something they look for in the property. Following the huge noise around the tour, he and Debbie feel they need more security for themselves and their family - and also for Buttons, their rescue dog.”. Last year, the Gallagher brothers put their infamous feud to rest and announced they'd be performing a string of global gigs later this year, triggering ticket chaos as millions clamoured for a chance to see them live for the first time since 2009.
We revealed the brothers are already talking again and their war of words lasting decades is over. They went on to pursue their own musical ventures - Noel with his High Flying Birds and Liam initially with band Beady Eye and later as a solo act. Yet, they are ready to come back together for some of the most in demand shows in music history. Liam and Noel are making their comeback to the stage together in July and August. They will kick off the tour on July 4 and end on August 17 in Dublin. Oasis will play several nights at Manchester's Heaton Park. It is a public park just north of the city and is the biggest in the North West. Heaton Park is home to Parklife Festival and Oasis played at the venue back in 2009.
The legendary band are also playing four nights at London's Wembley Stadium, two nights at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Croke Park in Dublin. They are expected to headline Glastonbury. The big reunion can be credited to Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs and Liam’s fiancée Debbie Gwyther. A source close to the negotiations told the Mirror: “Liam and Noel are talking again and the reunion is definitely happening. It has been a long time coming but things are back on track. For years, Debbie has been trying to get Liam and Noel to patch things up. Bonehead is one of the few people they are both pals with and he has recently been trying too and it’s finally paid off.
“A lot of senior people around the Gallaghers haven’t been told yet and those who are involved have all had to sign NDAs. But the reunion will happen and an announcement is imminent. Oasis gigs will be the biggest event in Britain in 2025.”. Like this story?
