Love Island's Marcel Somerville has revealed that he'll see if there's 'still that spark' between him and ex Gabby Allen when they reunite in the All Stars villa. The 39-year-old, who split from his wife Rebecca Vieira last year after she cheated on him, is returning to Love Island for the upcoming All Stars series - where he'll reunite with ex Gabby after the pair originally found love back in 2017.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press about what he would do if he saw Gabby in the All Stars villa, Marcel revealed: "It'd be pretty nice coming face to face with Gabby again because obviously a lot happened after we came out of the villa. Obviously, I made my mistake, put my hands up, but after that situation we did actually bump into each other and have a conversation and talk about everything, hugged it out and it was a very amicable ending to our life.

"But I haven't seen her since that point, so it'd probably be nice to catch up and see how she's been getting on. I've seen that she's had romances since, so we both moved on and we both grew, so it'd probably be nice to just like have a catch up and just just be friends.".

Marcel and Gabby ended their relationship in May 2018 after Marcel admitted to cheating on Gabby during a holiday. As for whether he would be open to rekindling their romance, Marcel said that he would consider it. "You can never say never, but it's all hypothetical. If she was in there, I think it'd probably be more of a situation of seeing what the energy was like between us and seeing if there was still that spark there. But it's been 7 years, the spark might not be reignited because of what's gone on with our past, so who knows, who knows.".
