Marcel shocked Love Island fans when he revealed he was entering the All Stars villa, but has admitted in an exclusive chat with The Mirror that he almost quit after coming face-to-face with his ex Gabby Allen in there.
The pair stayed in a relationship for 10 months after the show, however they split up after Marcel cheated on Gabby while the pair were on holiday - leaving them on frosty terms for the next eight years.
The exes were forced to reunite for the first time when the pair both ended up in the All Stars villa, creating an awkward first encounter which led Marcel to consider leaving.
He considered leaving so Gabby could enjoy herself in there without the stress of the pair's frosty relationship, but because they had conversations and a hug, they managed to get to a good place - especially as they had to share a bed for three days.
