A MAN has been charged with two counts of murder after two women were stabbed to death on Christmas Day. Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, were pronounced dead at the scene in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, on Wednesday. Jazwell Brown, 49, of Santa Cruz Avenue in Bletchley, was today charged with two counts of murder.

One of the two women is understood to be his partner. Brown has also been charged with the attempted murders of a young boy and a man in his 20s - both of whom were also rushed to hospital from the property. He was also charged with one count each of possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.

A dog found "covered in blood" was taken to a vet, but miraculously survived the incident, according to Thames Valley Police. Brown has been remanded in custody and will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. Thames Valley Police said in a statement: "Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, a man has been charged in connection with a double murder investigation in Milton Keynes.
