Love Island's Chyna Mills has revealed that she is living on a boat with her young daughter and professional dancer fiancé Neil Jones as their house buying plans have stalled. The ITV reality star, 26, and Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Neil, 42, have been dating since August 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Havana, in October 2023. Earlier this year, Chyna decided to sell up - putting her house on the market with the intention of finding a new pad to share with Neil and their baby girl.
But now the reality star has revealed that she is still living in limbo as plans to find a dream home have been dampened by an unenviable house market - leaving the young family living on a boat. Chyna made the revelation during a Questions and Answers session with fans on social media over the weekend.
Asked by a fan: “Why did you sell your house and move onto the boat?” Chyna replied via her Instagram Stories: “I sold my house so me and Neil could buy something together. Neil bought his boat before we got together and no it’s conveniently there for us to stay on while in limbo (annoyingly). We just haven’t yet found a house we like yet and I also didn’t want to be in a chain because the process of buying a house is hell. So hopefully we find something soon.".
She added: "The plan was never to live on the boat. It was just supposed to be a holiday home and Airbnb for when we aren’t using it." Questions about their floating home seemed to be popular, as another fan asked: “Does your boat stay in one place or do you travel around?”.
