Bradley Walsh was left red-faced on The Chase when Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan called him out for an awkward mistake. On Thursday's episode (December 19) of the popular ITV quiz show, Bradley was joined by contestants Rachel from Cardiff, Will originally from North Yorkshire, Martin from Enniskillen and Jessica from Cornwall, all hoping their combined knowledge could beat one brain.
However, things took a cringe-worthy turn during a question with contestant Rachel, as Bradley mispronounced a word and she didn't hesitate to correct him. As he launched into the rapid-fire questions, Bradley asked: "What American city's main international airport is known as Lax.".
But instead of saying L A X, he said Lax. Quick to correct him, Rachel interjected: "It's LAX." before correctly answering: "Los Angeles.", reports the Liverpool Echo. Having made it to the next round, Rachel confessed that she hoped to face Shaun Wallace, as she was eager to hear him sing if a music question came up.
However, she was up against The Vixen and immediately called out Bradley's error as she entered the stage, saying: "Hello retiary Rachel. There was some really quizzing on display there but what I partially liked is that you (Rachel) corrected Brad. Yes it usually is LAX not Lax, Lax is Brad's attitude to this show.".
