The Chase viewers were left unimpressed as they pleaded for one contestant to ‘stop’ after picking up on her habit. During Friday’s (January 3) episode of the ITV hit game show, Bradley Walsh, 64, returned to our TV screens alongside four players all hoping to walk away with the huge cash prize.

Hoping to beat the chaser was Tom from Oxford, Yasmin from Surrey, Mercedes from Blackpool and Gary from Wigan. The group worked as a team as they went head to head with Jenny Ryan, who is also known as The Vixen. Putting their general knowledge skills to the test, they went all out and answered quick fire questions.

Yasmin was the second contestant to take on The Vixen and she opted to play for the low offer of £1,000. Despite her best efforts she didn’t manage to beat the chaser and was eliminated from the competition. But throughout her moment her enthusiasm had everyone talking as viewers were quick to notice that she was giggling during everyone's questions.

It didn’t take long for fans to rush straight to social media and share their reaction as one wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: “Who's giggling now? WHO'S GIGGLING NOW?!" (sic). Another pointed out: “Bet she ain't giggling now #TheChase.” One fumed: “Oh my word, the giggling... Please make it stop #TheChase.” (sic).

Meanwhile another added: “Might do better if you listen to the questions rather than stupidly laughing and giggling!! #TheChase.” (sic). It comes as a contestant recently made history on the show. Viewers were stunned to discover that Margaret was 92 - the show's oldest female contestant. Margaret explained that she had lived in Cambridgeshire for the past eight years but said that her husband's RAF career led them to move house 33 times. She then revealed that her son Matthew had previously appeared on The Chase and walked away with £25,000, inspiring her to try her luck on the show.
