The Night Action is back on Netflix and Peter Sutherland (played by Gabriel Basso) was reunited with Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) after she tracked him down. He had fallen off the radar after losing his partner Alice (Brittany Snow) during a mission, in which a mole had leaked their position.

Season two saw Rose and Peter work closely with Noor (Arienne Mandi) as she was determined to bring her family safely to the US. Meanwhile, they were on a crucial mission to stop a secret chemical weapons operation from coming to fruition. The ending starts eight years into the past when Solomon’s (Berto Colon) boss Jacob Monroe (Louis Herthum) funded a building, but wanted to keep it quiet. He wouldn’t tell anyone where he got his money from, which raised alarm bells as he was painted as a suspicious character.

He started offering help to "dig up skeletons" and get dirt on people, laying the foundations for his future career. Flash forward to the UN building being cleared and Catherine (Amanda Warren) as the main trio finally reached the danger zone. Peter and Catherine were still on bad terms after Peter absconded to see Solomon’s boss. Meanwhile Tomás Bala's (Rob Heaps) cousin Markus (Michael Malarkey) was making progress with the chemical weapon.

Fortunately, as police and Catherine's team swooped in, the enemy gang started being killed off one by one, with the 'goodies' locating all but one of the canisters. Meanwhile, Markus went to Sloane’s (Elise Kibler) house and threatened her, but she managed to give a universal distress signal so Rose and Peter knew he was in the room with her.
