A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at Goldhawk Road Underground station. The knife attack happened at 1pm this afternoon and the man’s condition is unknown. Another man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. TfL confirmed that Goldhawk Road tube station is currently closed while investigations in the area continue. Toman, who works at Two Wheels Only, a motorbike repair shop on the Railway Arches close by to Goldhawk Road, told Metro he saw ‘quite a few’ emergency service vehicles.

He said: ‘We are quite a distance away from where it happened but I saw a lot of blue flashing lights. ‘It is all currently cordoned off and it looks like they are still waiting for forensic officers to arrive. ‘I saw quite a few emergency service vehicles in the area, including police, ambulance and air ambulance. ‘This is the first time something like this has happened around here other than a crash that happened the other day.

‘I haven’t heard much from others about what is going on.’. A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at approximately 13:00hrs on Wednesday, 12 February to reports of a stabbing in Goldhawk Road, W12. ‘Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man suffering stab injuries. ‘A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. ‘A crime scene remains in place. ‘Enquiries into the circumstances continue.’. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: ‘We were called at 1pm today (Wednesday, February 12) to reports of a stabbing on Goldhawk Road, W12. ‘We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a paramedic from our tactical response unit.

‘We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre by road.’. Goldhawk Road is closed both ways from A219 Shepherd’s Bush Green (Shepherd’s Bush Empire) to Richford Street. Buses in the area are currently on detour as well including the number 94 and 237. Goldhawk Road tube station is on the Hammersmith and City lines and Circle lines.
