The 22-year-old nurse from Torquay, Devon was forced to call pest control after being forced to trap the living arachnid when it crawled out of the wrapping. She had made a large order from the online fashion brand that arrived on Tuesday - but when it arrived, Marnie claimed she spotted something moving inside the sealed bag that contained the present.

When she realised it was a spider, the customer was disgusted and flung the parcel in a panic. 'I'm terrified of spiders,' she revealed. 'I was taking everything out of the box. Everything came in a big box because it was a big order. 'Everything from Shein is in a sealed plastic, vacuumed casing. As I was opening the bag with the Santa hat inside, something moved across the packaging.
