The mammoth heavyweight rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk takes place this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, serving up a stunning early Christmas gift for sports fans. Fury was beaten on points by Usyk when the pair clashed in May – the first-ever defeat of the Gypsy King’s professional career.

On that occasion, the Ukrainian walked away with the IBF, WBC and WBO world heavyweight titles following a split-decision victory at the Kingdom Arena, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999. And Bet365 is celebrating this colossal clash by giving fans a festive treat of their own.

Usyk, formally an undisputed world cruiserweight champion, has made a successful switch to the heavyweight division, defeating Derek Chisora, Daniel Dubois, Anthony Joshua and Fury on his way to the top. The 37-year-old has been victorious in all of his 22 professional bouts, and heads into this weekend’s showdown as the slight favourite with Bet365.

Fury, 36, has picked up 24 victories by knockout or technical knockout during his professional career, with just 12 of his fights going the distance. On the other hand, Usyk has recorded 14 knockouts. During their classic bout earlier this year, Fury dominated the early stages. However, Usyk recovered and almost stopped Fury in the ninth round.

The referee delivered a standing count before the Gypsy King pulled himself back into the contest to win the 12th round. But it wasn’t enough. The result went down to the judges’ scorecards, with Usyk emerging as the winner following a split decision. Two judges scored it 115-112 and 114-113 in favour of the Ukrainian, while the third gave it to Fury by 114-113.
