Another pointed out Aldi’s reply to Iceland on its Facebook post: “Who defrosted the sassy one is underrated, that’s hilarious.” John Lewis chimed in on Aldi’s post with: “Roses are red, violets are blue, you need a date, and we’re here for you.” To this, Aldi replied: “When the rich guy slides in your dms.”.
A TikTok user commented about this on Chloe’s slideshow post as they added: “Calling John Lewis the rich guy was so accurate.” Someone else expressed they are a fan of Aldi’s social media team: “If my kid ever tells me their dream job is Aldi social media, I’ll be there for them all the way.”.
