Annie and her sons returned to England so the boys didn't miss school, while Kyle remains in Milan to train for his upcoming game. The former Manchester City star will be based there for the foreseeable, but he will be making trips home when his football schedule allows.

Annie arrived in Italy with her and Kyle's four children last week to watch the footballer play for AC Milan. The England international has joined the Serie A giants from Manchester City until the end of the season. It had been reported that Annie would be staying at home for the debut, as  she chose to celebrate her friend's 40th birthday instead after an alleged row with Kyle. Annie had initially been set to arrive in Italy last weekend with their sons, Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and Rezon, before being delayed first by the stormy weather and then by a fresh row.

Friends of the couple told MailOnline: 'Annie and the boys were in the stands to support Kyle as he made his first appearance on the pitch. 'They have spent the weekend in Milan, enjoying family time together, checking out the local hotspots and getting to know the area. 'The focus today was purely on the game and - as such - the family chose a low key entrance into the stadium via the back doors. It was a big day for Kyle, who made a huge impression an explosive first appearance with his new team.

'The media spotlight around their personal life has been intense and not something they invite in, particularly where their children are involved as they want to protect them as much as possible.'. It was previously reported last week that Annie had decided to travel to Milan in a private jet with the children to support the move and the family appeared to be in great spirits as they were spotted at the Melia Milano hotel on Saturday.
