Beyoncé has postponed the January 14 announcement she has been teasing since her Christmas Day NFL halftime performance. The 43-year-old music artist took to social media on Monday night to share a note with her hundreds of millions of followers. 'The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles,' Beyoncé typed in white text set against a black background.

She added, 'I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss.
