A resurfaced clip has shown Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool co-star hit out at the actor's behaviour. After Ryan was brought into the lawsuit between his wife Blake Lively and her co-star Justin Baldoni, footage from a 2022 interview hears comedian TJ Miller say Reynolds was "horrifically mean" to him on set.
The podcast chat on The Adam Corolla Show has now gone viral again. Miller, who played Weasel in Deadpool, claimed in the interview he had felt tension between the pair. He told the host: "As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me.". He then shared an alleged incident from the filming of the second film and said: "But to me. As if I'm Weasel. He was like, 'You know what's great about you, Weasel? You're not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it's funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.'".
He added that he "kind of listened and thought it was weird" before walking away after the director had called cut. Miller claimed Reynolds' actions seemed as though he was "insecure" for some reason. However, he said he wasn't exactly sure why. He claimed: "That's exactly why he said that. Because I'm not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven't been in more movies than him.".
Despite admitting he wouldn't work with Reynolds again, he admitted in the clip there were no ill feelings towards him. "I sorta wish him well, because he's so good at Deadpool, and I think it's weird that he hates me," he went on. "I don't wish them any ill will. I think [Ryan] should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies. I just think he doesn't like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that. I don't wish them any ill will.
