The couple’s New Year’s Eve didn’t quite go to plan, with Carla having woken up in a bad mood having previously learnt that Lisa had been called into work. However, things soon turned around when Lisa managed to get the day off, and planned a surprise romantic date for the factory boss.
Unfortunately, their romantic meal was derailed when Lisa received a worrying message from a woman she had helped a year ago. She explained to Carla that she had put away her abusive partner, but that he had been released from prison and was back on the estate the woman lived on.

However, things later took a worrying turn when Carla bumped into DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), who revealed that the man in question was more likely to be gunning for Lisa than his ex. As if on cue, Kit received an emergency call for back up at the same address Lisa had gone to visit, leaving Carla terrified.
