But Lavia, 21, was still named as one of the EA Sports FC 25 Future Stars this week - alongside Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid forward Endrick and Manchester United defender Leny Yoro.
Lavia, who is currently sidelined with a muscle issue, also spoke of his desire to “give back” to his community while stressing top footballers can do “a lot more” to help out.
“Obviously the people that are following us all the time… sometimes when we’re playing games and it’s raining and it’s bad weather, we think, ‘These people are there and they’re singing and they’re behind us all the time,’ so it’s just giving that love back as much as I can.
The Belgium international continued: “Off the pitch I want to give back to the community in general because I think, as footballers, we can do a lot more.
