'I refuse to eat anything cooked in a kitchen with a dog - it's disgusting' A woman has sparked a debate after admitting she allows her dog to explore the kitchen countertops while food is being prepared.
She added: "As someone who sleeps in the same bed with my dog and allows him to lick the leftover peanut butter or Greek yogurt from the spoon after I'm done eating, I was shocked and admittedly now a bit self-conscious that people think I'm disgusting?!
The woman shared how she lets her dog shares a bed with her - and allows him to eat off her plate or from her cutlery when she's finished with her meal.
She said on Reddit: "Scrolling through Instagram, I came across a post of someone cooking a pie for their dog.
While some believe it's "gross" and "disgusting" to allow pets into the room when there's food out on the counters as their fur or saliva could easily make its way into the dish, others doesn't understand the problem with it.
