Recalling that everyone at the party was visibly shocked by this, the woman admitted she didn't know whether she was entitled to think the kids would be keeping the bear.
'[After the picture the mom said] "Okay, thank you everyone, but if you could now hand your bear over the Sarah, thank you so much for building a personal bear so that Sarah can remember you by,"' the woman recounted.
'I may be in the wrong but then I looked up the invite again and [it] didn't say anything, so I just assumed [the kids would keep the bears],' she explained, adding they had said there were goody bags at the house so she thought maybe they would put the bears in there.
In response, the mom said she can 'look into' getting the bear 'back for her,' to which the woman replied saying it was fine and decided to leave the party, with the other moms and kids following suit.
