Conor McGregor has called out long-time rival Jeremy Stephens for a fight, but has sensationally expressed his desire to make the bout under the BKFC banner. On Saturday night Stephens took on former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez - which headlined BKFC KnuckleMania V in Philadelphia. From start to finish, 'Lil Heathen' controlled proceedings and dropped Alvarez multiple times before sending the American to the canvas with another punch in the third round.

That prompted the former UFC star's corner to thrown in the towel. After he conducted his post-fight interview, Stephens then got the chance to go nose-to-nose with BKFC co-owner McGregor - who has expressed his interest on competing in bare-knuckle before calling it a career. The pair have a bit of history after the American traded barbs with 'The Notorious' during the UFC 205 press conference in 2016. The Irishman got the lost laugh in the end after replying to one of 'Lil Heathen's' insults with: “who the f**k is that guy?”.

While the fight never happened in the UFC, it seems it could be on the cards in BKFC. During their in-ring confrontation, McGregor said: “Who the f*** is this guy? Let’s set a date. Who’s going to stop me man to man? No one’s going to stop me. Dave [Feldman], make a date, let’s do it. I’m down for it bro.”.
