Coronation Street is quite literally on fire next week, as confirmed in my new picture spoilers, with the Platt residence set to go up in smoke as someone lights a rag and posts it through the letterbox. Tensions are aplenty at No.8 ahead of the fiery blaze, with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) on tenterhooks over the on-going Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) situation. With Sarah’s (Tina O’Brien) birthday on the horizon, discussions are had about the clan gathering together to celebrate, though Sarah voices her concern over Harvey potentially finding out about them all being under the same roof at the same time.

And sinister Logan overhears such a thing. Abi Webster (Sally Carman), meanwhile, sees red and confronts Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) at No. 8 over reporting her to social services. When Toyah accidentally spills a bottle of red wine, she is reminded of Seb covered in blood and thus suffers a panic attack. As Toyah attempts to help, Abi smacks her. Up Next. Later, someone sets No. 8 on fire. Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) spots the blaze and heads to the bistro, where she notifies all those in attendance. Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) swoops into action, where he finds Toyah unconscious on the floor. Max Turner (Paddy Bever), meanwhile, is trapped inside. The question is: will he survive? Will Toyah, for that matter?. That remains to be seen but Leanne (Jane Danson) is worried sick about her sister and joins Nick in the hospital waiting room.

Nick accuses her of starting the fire but Leanne assures him she had nothing to do with it. But is she being honest?. It’s going to be an unmissable week on the Street!. Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday, February 3 and Friday, February 7 at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
