Coronation Street confirms unexpected pregnancy story for fan-favourite on Christmas Day

Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) was left reeling in Coronation Street to find out that she’s pregnant, with the discovery coming minutes after she witnessed the love of her life get engaged to someone else. The barmaid, as viewers know, is still holding a candle for Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), despite him being in a relationship with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).

Daniel has been conflicted over who he wants to be with but he ultimately made his choice on Christmas Day as he got down on one knee and proposed to Bethany, who said yes. The proposal was witnessed by Daisy, who had been texting Daniel all day for a meeting – quite clearly having something she needed to tell him.
