Departing Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan reveals ‘biggest ick’ she has in her storyline

Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has revealed the one aspect of her ongoing storyline that would give her a ‘massive ick’ in real life. The actress, 30, has appeared as Daisy Midgeley on the ITV soap since 2020, and recently announced her departure.

In the lead up to her exit, we’ll see the character harbour her feelings for ex-fiancé Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), who recently popped the question to Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). To make matters worse, Daniel and Daisy slept together – and after discovering she is pregnant, she’s uncertain whether the child is his, or Kit Green’s (Jacob Roberts).

‘I don’t think Daisy’s feelings towards Daniel will ever change’ Charlotte told us. ‘Daisy always has, and always will be in love with Daniel and has always been holding on to hope that they will get back together. ‘I don’t think she could ever fully move on from him.’.
She continued: ‘I think the thing that cut her deep was that Daniel proposed to Bethany on exactly the same day as he had previously proposed to Daisy a couple of years ago – that would be a massive ick for me, I can’t believe Daisy still even wants him!.
