Summary at a Glance

EA FC 25 rewarding wins for rage quits is long overdue – but EA could have implemented it better After years of asking, players will now be awarded a win when the opposition quits when drawing in EA FC 25, but I don't think EA Sports has done enough to make it work.

If EA were to reward players with a win every time a player quit a game when drawing, then without a doubt, PC hackers would find a way to purposely disconnect the opposition from the game and give themselves the win.

EA Sports has announced that a new EA FC 25 update (Title Update 9) would bring a host of big feature changes, including two Ultimate Team Evolutions at once, a new search filter, and updated starter packs for new players.

For too long, a toxic chunk of the Ultimate Team player base has quit games when the score is level to stop the opponent from being awarded a win, and as someone who has had this happen to them way too often, it's one of the most irritating parts of playing EA FC 25 online.

Either EA finds a way to combat PC hackers and removes all requirements for the win to be rewarded, or the requirements stay the same, allowing players to find workarounds and avoid giving their opponents the win.
