Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) grandson Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Chowdhry) is still struggling in the aftermath of the evil man’s death in EastEnders. Prior to Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve’s (Heather Peace) wedding, Nugget was paying regular visits to Nish, who had escaped from prison and was hiding out in a flat in Walford.
As well as bringing Nish food and water, Nugget fell victim to his manipulative ways. Nish managed to convince the teen to assist in a plan that made it look as though he had ended his life, all so he could get to Suki and Eve’s wedding and attempt to put a stop to it.
Nish’s plan saw him poison Eve and then hold Suki hostage on a balcony. When Ravi (Aaron Thiara) arrived, he was wound up by Nish enough so he pushed him over the edge, but Ravi failed to realise Nish was holding onto Suki’s dress, meaning she fell with him.

Most of the Walford residents are glad to see the back of the abusive man, but Nugget and Ravi are processing the enormity of what happened a little differently.
In tonight’s episode, Nugget was dressed in a suit ready for Nish’s funeral. When Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) entered the kitchen, Nugget commented on his mum’s ‘hooker’ outfit and felt hurt that no-one was focusing on attending the event. Priya was utterly horrified at Nugget’s comments and sat him down immediately. She said Nish was still under his skin and influencing his behaviour, something that needed to change quickly.
