A preview has been released by Buckingham Palace showing the preparation for the King's Christmas message with Charles getting ready for his speech which will be broadcast tomorrow. Charles can be seen adjusting his tie in the clip released on social media and as if he was on a film set, a director is heard saying: "Can we have complete quiet on the floor please, roll cameras and record. Rolling and so whenever you are ready....".
The King’s Christmas message will focus on the efforts of healthcare workers following a year that saw Charles and the Princess of Wales treated for cancer. He will also use his annual address to the nation to hail communities who came together in solidarity in the aftermath of rioting, following the fatal Southport stabbings of three young girls.
The message was recorded at Fitzrovia Chapel, a former sacred space of the demolished Middlesex Hospital where Diana, Princess of Wales opened London’s first dedicated Aids ward. It is understood the speech will reflect on international, national and personal challenges and how they can be overcome by communities supporting one another.
And today the Royal Family posted on X where royal fans will get the chance to listen to Charles speaking. It states: "Lights. Camera. Action! The annual Christmas Day tradition - the Sovereign’s Christmas Broadcast - is almost here. Where will you be watching? The broadcast will be available from 15:00GMT on Christmas Day on: The Royal Family Channel on YouTube. @SKYNews, @ITV and @BBCOne in the UK. If you live outside the UK, check your national broadcaster’s schedule.".
