Four people have died after a vehicle crashed into a building in Colchester, Essex. The crash occurred along Magdalen Street, a road coming out from Colchester station packed with shops and homes, at 4.40am. Emergency services attended but four people died at the scene. Their names, ages or genders have not been revealed. Police have informed their families. The scene was shut for most of today while an investigation took place but it has since re-opened.
Photographs shared by police showed the road had been closed from the Europit Tyres on 191-193 Magdalen Street onwards.
