Emma McVey, 32, has decided to homeschool her two young children, Chester, seven, and Primrose, five, after they experienced taunts that caused anxiety.
Emma went on to explain that while school can be an "amazing experience" for some children, it can also be "incredibly harmful" for others.
Sharing the reason behind her decision, Emma penned: "I chose this way of learning for my children’s mental health.
She also revealed that the hurtful comments caused her children's anxiety to escalate, resulting in "tummy problems, nail-biting, and teeth grinding."
