FESTIVAL goers think they've worked out the latest addition to this year's Glastonbury line-up. With a break in the said band's touring schedule leading fans to suggest it's been deliberately left clear for a performance at Worthy Farm. One fan posting on the Glastonbury Festival Community page on Reddit thinks they've joined the dots.
Ans the latest name they believe will soon be confirmed for Glastonbury 2025, is recently reformed pop group the Scissor Sisters. They said: "Scissor Sisters? They are on a UK arena tour which ends in May and think that'd be a blast.". But another is unconvinced the band, who now perform without departed singer Ana Matronic, will be as good as they once were.
They said: "Bit sad without Anna though, feels like they won't have the impact they could have had.". Last year the Scissor Sisters confirmed they were reuniting and embarking on a UK tour, two decades after their debut album hit the charts. The group teased their reunion, after 12 years apart, by beaming their logo onto various UK venues, including London's O2 Arena and Manchester's Co-op Live.
This was swiftly followed by confirmation of a UK and Ireland tour, kicking off at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on May 16, and finishing at the 3Arena in Dublin on May 28. Glastonbury Festival, which the Scissor Sisters previously played at in 2004, runs from June 25-29.
