How to cancel Fortnite Crew on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch

Whether you're unhappy with how the new Fortnite Crew subscription works, or you're clearing out your list of memberships to save some cash, here's a step-by-step guide on how to cancel it. Fortnite has bolstered what it offers players outside of battle royale, Creative, and Save the World, adding a Lego mode, Rocket Racing, and the musical Fortnite Festival to the smorgasbord of game modes. So it's only fitting that the Fortnite Crew subscription should get a makeover to include more than just the battle royale Battle Pass. And that's just what Epic Games did with revamp in November 2024.
Since these changes were rolled out, Fortnite Crew now offers members the Music Pass and Lego Pass, as well as the battle royale Pass – and what's more, the cost of the subscription hasn't increased, despite the extra content. The Fortnite Crew update did ruffle some feathers, however, given how it now works.
Before the update, you could sign up for just one month, and your access to the Battle Pass' premium rewards would remain for the rest of the season, even if you cancelled your Fortnite Crew Subscription after that. As it stands now, you need an active Fortnite Crew subscription to claim premium rewards, so if it takes you longer than one month to get through a Battle Pass, you're going to need to extend your Fortnite Crew subscription for as long as that takes you.
Meanwhile, the price of the Battle Pass itself has been bumped up slightly from 950 V-Bucks to 1,000 V-Bucks which you can cover with buying a 1,000 V-Bucks pack (£6.99 / $8.99 / AU$11.95) so not much has really changed there. Bear in mind that a Fortnite Crew subscription gives members 1,000 V-Bucks every month, and given all of the skins and cosmetics constantly dropping into the game, that's not to be sniffed at.
