A WOMAN has revealed that she bought a Christmas tree from Temu but it was a total fail. Rather than forking out cash on a real tree, a bargain hunter named Lady Mildred decided to order one online from Temu instead. But as a result of buying the tree from the online e-commerce marketplace, Lady Mildred was unable to see the Christmas tree in the flesh before it arrived.
And when the postman delivered it to her home and she opened it up, she was left in hysterics. Whilst the content creator didn’t confirm how much she paid for the tree, there are a variety of options available on the site, with prices starting from just £3.
And what Lady Mildred thought was going to be an easy to assemble, classic green Christmas tree, instead has been described as a ‘Christmas stick’. Social media users even questioned if her tree is on antidiabetic medication Ozempic, which is also used for weight loss, and claimed it wasn’t worth decorating.
Posting on social media, Lady Mildred shared a short clip, which has now gone viral. At the start of the video, we saw the young woman pose in the mirror, seconds before revealing her blunder. Lady Mildred then shared a picture of her Christmas ‘tree’ as she penned: “POV: You bought [a] Christmas tree from Temu.”.
Alongside laughing and crying emojis, the woman posted an image of her online purchase, which she decorated with Christmas lights and just three red baubles. But rather than fluffy branches, the Temu shopper claimed to have only received the middle part of the tree, leaving many open-mouthed.
